Yummy Recipe

I'm always on the hunt for yummy easy recipes that

are waist line friendly, and this one is a favorite!

Start with the bell peppers

Then cook the filling

Then put the two together!
A yummy light summer meal!
*The only things I changed from the original recipe:
I left out the green onions &
I used low fat cheese
*You could also add meat, like maybe ground turkey,
but I think they are yummy as is!!

Lots of weddings and receptions lately!

Cecily got married and she looked amazing!

Linds and her have been best friends since forever,

boy do I have a lot of dirt on these two!!

A couple weekends ago we watched the kids for two nights,

while Lindsay and Dano took a much needed kid free weekend!

I had lots of fun things planned, but we didn't end up doing any

of it! I think auntie was feeling rather lazy, so we ended up

playing at home, watching movies, and making lots of messes!

(glad we weren't at my house!)

here is how the weekend went down...

Navy had a nutritious dinner, aka a Happy Meal.

Which won me the most favorite award! She kept

saying Happy Meal all the way their.

Lots of baths, they somehow still get dirty when you stay at home!

Lots of playing with Wy Wy, as Navy calls him.

And of course naps, who doesn't love nap time!

Navy wanted crackers and decided to crunch them all

over the bed. That night we slept on cracker crumbs.

Oops forget to clean them up!

I love in the mornings when the kids wake up,

they are so happy and Navy has some rockin bed head!

We love watching these sweet kiddos. They are so much

fun and love them to pieces!!

Mothers...

I am so grateful for my mom! She is the kindest, prettiest,

hard working, and most giving person I know! She is

constantly doing so much for me and I am so blessed to

have her as my mom! I love her so much!

To my sister, who beat me and being a mom first,

I look up to her in so many ways and hope to

be as could a mom as she is!! Love you!

And I can't forget my mother in law who raised

ten kids practically all on her own, she is amazing!

moms out there!!

Easter Fun!

We had a week full of Easter festivities! The Sunday before we

had the Wells family party and like always, it was tons

of fun and I ate too much! Navy, Lily, and Nevaeh

were big enough to really get into finding the Easter eggs!

They were so cute to watch!

Then that next weekend we had a Easter bbq with my dad.

And once again ate too much!

Then on Saturday we spent the afternoon with Wyatt's

family. I brought some cupcakes that I think were a hit!

The kids had a big Easter egg hunt! I don't think I have ever

seen so many kids running around looking for eggs!! There

were a few golden eggs with money inside and two

of the little girls found them!! Impressive cause they were

in some crazy hiding spots!!

With so many parties before, the actual holiday was
low key! I loved it, we didn't do anything but go to church,
hang out with family, and be lazy all day!! I loved not having
to cram everything into one day!!

I love this time of year! And I am especially loving
all my flowers & plants that are blooming!

Gardening has become quite a hobby for me lately.

I really enjoy it! You can usually find me, linds, and
my mom dragging two kids to Home Depot and
A & P at least once a week! It's ridiculous!

Thanks goes to my mama, she knows everything about gardening!
If you know her, her yard always looks fab!!

My little rose garden, they are blooming like crazy!!
Hopefully the hot weather won't be here to soon
so I can enjoy my flowers for a little while longer!!

Disneyland!

Waiting for the airplane

We have a lot of January birthdays in my family and thought

it would be fun to take a little vacation to Disneyland

to celebrate! We flew out early Thursday morning
and came back Saturday night. It was a quick
trip but tons of fun!

Day One...

We picked a great time to go to Disneyland! There were
practically no lines! I think the longest we waited in line
was 15 minutes! Since this was Navy's first time
at Disneyland, we were all so excited to
see how she would react to everything! She loved
it and both kids were so good!

Navy loves Winnie the Pooh! Ryder called
dibs on taking her on the Pooh ride!
I'm pretty sure she was in heaven!

Day Two...

We spent two days at the parks and

did just about everything!

We had a fun filled Christmas weekend with family!
Clint and Haylee surprised everyone and came into town!
I think that was the best part! Of course it was even better
now that Navy is a little bit older! She had a blast! My mom
got all the girls sewing machines which was a fun surprise!
I am going to conquer my fear of sewing!
That is one of me goals this year!

We also had a fun New Year's Eve. We went to see the
temple lights, since we hadn't yet, and then hung out
with the Roberts fam. It was freezing that night so we sat
around the fire, ate smores, and chatted till midnight!
Oh and of course fireworks!

So I am trying to do some major catching up from the last

couple of months before January is over!

More for me than anyone else, so this will be a record

For our summer vacation we decided to go somewhere

we hadn't been and decided on San Francisco!

My mom, Ryder, & Trent came and we all had a blast!!

We were there for 6 days and did everything you could

possibly do their!!It was cold but nice to get away from the heat!

I took a ton pics but here are a few....


We rented bikes one day and biked over the Golden Gate Bridge. We ended up riding them all day. It was quite an adventure, but ended up being one of the funnest days!

Camping Fun!

A couple weekends ago we decided to take a quick
trip to the mountains overnight. Now, I am normally
not the camping kind of girl but I have to say it was
actually quite fun. But then again it was only over night!

My only request was a bathroom!

We fished, and of course Ryder caught the most fish!

Navy loved playing in the creek!

We went shooting too and just had lots of fun
hanging out! I'm sure we will be doing again soon!

Memorial Day!

I love when everyone has the day off
and we can have a fun chill day and hangout.
We had a little bbq and got in the pool
for the first time this summer!

Backyard is Done!!

So Wyatt said he took before pictures but I

really think he forget too because I can't find any!
So, let me just say that when we moved in the
backyard was butt ugly!! It was pretty much
dirt, pool, and a couple palm trees!

Wyatt really did so much! He laid all the borders
and did all the drip and sprinkler system.
I am so lucky he is quite the handy guy!
We did hire someone to built us a pool fence
and two new side gates.

If any of you know my mom she is an amazing
gardener! She seriously knows so much and
I couldn't have done any of it without her!
Lindsay did her yard at the same time, so us three
girls had lots of fun planting together, laughing, and
watching Navy eat rocks and dirt!

This slab of cement had an ugly old shed on it
that we got rid of and I turned it into a cute sitting area!
I love it!

Some views around the pool. I put up some tiki torches around the pool.
They look really cool lit up at night. Bring on the summer pool parties!!

I copied my mom and hung these lanterns
over my patio table and I think they are super cute!

I am so happy that it is done! Although I guess
its never really done, there is always something to do!
After working in the yard so much I discovered I really
enjoy it and it has kind of become my new hobby!
I told Wyatt I will plant the flowers but I won't mow the grass!!
That is fair right!!

Now we have to tackle the front yard!
It is hideous! Stay tuned...

Clint and Haylee pulled a fast one on all of us and
showed up Sunday morning at my moms ward!
We had no idea they were coming in town!
Can't beat that Mother's Day surprise!

She had the stomach flu the day before, poor Wyatt
had it really bad on Sunday, then Linds & I got it that night,

It was actually my grandmas years ago, so of course I wanted it.
It definitely needed some work, but I love

Today is my Grandma Wells birthday!
I always remember this day! Even though she is not with us,

Gettin Crafty!

So I am obessed with letters, initials..... I have B's all
throughout my house! I had made a couple of these for
a few other people and finally got around to making one for me!
I ended up putting it here cause it needed a little something!

I tease my husband that all the B's in the house stand for
Brock or Brown............he just rolls his eyes! Haha!

I of course had to make one for my sweet little navy bugs!
I was trying to save it till her birthday but of course
couldn't wait!(plus I have a billion things for her already!)
I added a little bling on the ribbon and I thought it turned out super cute!

My mom and I are just about finished with Navy's birthday outfit!

We had a lovely Christmas this year!!

It was filled with lots of fun and family!!

We both didn't tell each other of any thing
we wanted so it was full of surprises!!

Wyatt surprised me with a snowboarding trip!!
I haven't been so I'm really excited!

I got Wyatt lots of tools and clothes.
I had his diploma framed which ended up being
one of his favorite things!

My husband sure knows how to shop for me...

My mom surprised all the couples with tantem bikes.
We have all been riding them non-stop! She got
Nav's this so she can tag along too! She loves it!

I have to say the holidays are much more fun
with a baby around! We had so much fun spoiling her!
